PAPER WEIGHT...for my SIS

I made this paper weight for my sister Jamie. She wanted me to make something for her desk at work so this is what I came up with. I have been waiting all week to share it with you all but, wanted her to get it in the mail before she saw it on my blog... She got it today so time to share!

At Target, I got these Making Memories white wood Decorative Letters. They are in the craft section and were discounted. I loved the flowers so I bought a few. They have the hooks on the back so you could hang them on the wall if you wanted.

I decided to take my pink Making Memories scrapbook paint and paint the entire flower. I traced the flower on the new DCWV Glitter Stack and used adhesive to attach to the front. I used coordinating ribbon and punched matching flowers to decorate. I stamped the letter "J" on cardstock and used Crystal Stickles to glitter. I embellished it as I liked and Voila a paper weight.

I loved making this project so much I am in the process of doing another one as I write this. It is fun and I just loved how they turned out.
